Coffee Coupons

Using Starbucks coupons that I find online at third-party coupon sites has saved me hundreds of dollars over the past year. No more shelling out full price for what is essentially flavored hot water and steamed milk–I save at least a dollar or two every day. You need your morning coffee fix, I understand, but you don’t need to pay through the nose for it.

Finding Starbucks coupons can be a real pain in the butt if you don’t know where to look. Starbucks knows that people will continue to  line up and pay whatever price they have to pay to get to their delicious coffee, so Starbucks rarely releases official coupons. I’ve found that if you buy a bag of Starbucks beans at the grocery store, it comes with a coupon for a free “tall” size coffee, but other than that, you can really wear yourself out looking for coupons for Starbucks.

That’s where third party coupon websites come in. My personal favorite is RetailMeNot.com. I have Retail Me Not bookmarked and check it every evening to find the coupon I’m going to use at Starbucks the next day. Their deals range from a few cents off your purchase to full-blown “buy one get one free” deals.

Third-party coupon sites depend on user submissions, so checking these sites is like asking everyone you know if they have a good Starbucks coupon idea, all with a single click of your mouse. I spend almost $1,000 less every year on my morning joe, and you can too.

There are other third-party sites you can try as well, with names like 8coupons.com and plain old coupons.com. Remember to check these sites regularly, as deals get updated and new coupons are posted on a daily basis.
